A bit of information about the Beach Photo
process and our policies:
Beach Sessions are held about one hour prior to sunset for the most flattering light.
We always hold a backup date in the case of rain. For our vacationing clients that date is the morning after your scheduled date just after sunrise. For local clients, we will work together to find the next available date that fits all schedules if we need to postpone due to inclement weather outside.
Our policy is to hold your date for 24 hours after an inquiry as a courtesy. Your date is booked and reserved for you once the booking fee retainer is paid and you have confirmed through our online booking system.
For the quickest and most efficient response, inquiries should be sent via email (either a direct email to hello@beachphotonc.com or through one of our many contact forms on our website—like the one on this page below). We get so many requests for a limited number days (especially for summer beach sessions!) and sending your booking inquiry through email ensures your spot in line for possible dates and makes certain we treat all of our clients fairly.
We have several collections ranging from digital only, to wall art and albums with all-inclusive digital portraits.
Our portrait collections start at $700 with a partial payment retainer due and booking and the remaining balance due by the day of your photo session.
All sessions require a partial payment through our Online Reservation system in order to Secure a date in our calendar.

Fun Fact about Topsail Island:
It really is pronounced Topsul !
Legend has it that the pronunciation came from British sailors on the lookout for pirate ships whisking through the coves and sandbars in the area.
The sailors would shout out a warning “top sail! top sail!” if they spotted a pirate ship sailing near, but in their accent it sounded more like “topsul! topsul!” and the name, with it’s distinct pronunciation stuck.
That’s the story most of us around here have been told at least. I’d love to hear if anyone else knows any other origins for our pronunciation— send us a message!
