A Special Session

Your precious little babe is a very big deal in a very tiny package. This stage is so big emotionally yet exceptionally small in time. The newborn days are a unique stage in life that cannot be duplicated, and absolutely deserves to be captured in a special manner.

At Beach Photo, we are proud to offer outdoor newborn portrait sessions with wraps and props designed specifically for your little beach baby.

We are trained and certified in infant safety, as well as safe posing and positioning for newborn photography. Photographing newborns on the beach is quite specialized, and we have worked very hard to be the premier photographer for Topsail Island’s babies with this unique offering.

Seaside themed props and accessories

All of our props and accessories are tailored for working on the beach, and are hand curated by us to create a beautiful gallery of beach portraits of your sweet baby.

Most of our newborn beach props are hand crafted, and they are all made for photographing by the ocean. We have a baby clamshell, an infant sized wooden raft, a fishing bucket, natural baskets, wooden beds custom painted in nautical colors, a miniature papasan chair (perfect for sibling portraits!), driftwood nests and much more.

We also have a wide selection of wraps and accessories to keep your precious bundle both cozy and adorable while outside by the sea.

BOOKING YOUR NEWBORN Beach SESSION

Our beach sessions fill up very fast through all the warmer months. We can have newborn sessions on the beach from about March-November as weather permits. We strongly recommend you reserve your session based on your due date as soon as you can.

We aim to have your newborn session when your baby is between 7 and 15 days old, with some flexibility based on adjusted dates for premature birth or scheduling conflicts. Several poses common to newborn photography are not easily achieved as babies grow out of the flexibility of the newborn stage; so sticking to the ideal window as much as possible is encouraged.

We will reserve a date in our calendar for your newborn portrait session based on your due date, but please keep us up to date if your baby arrives early so we can schedule accordingly.

All sessions require a booking fee to reserve your session, and a minimum total investment that you may choose to use for digital portraits or printed art of your baby.

complimentary petite Maternity session

For a limited time in 2022, we are offering a complimentary petite maternity session when you book a beach newborn session.

To qualify for a complimentary petite maternity session you must have a newborn session booked with us. That means the newborn booking fee and at least 50% of your newborn minimum investment will need to be paid by the day of your maternity session.
